Workshop for organizations

I have organized internal and external workshops for various organizations, English-speaking colleagues, guests, and tourists.

IKEBANA

◆ Ikebana is the Japanese art of flower arrangement.

  - Find the material’s charm and uniqueness.

   - Create the beautiful space with any materials
which has no right answer or pathway.

◆ The heart of a person who arranges ikebana is reflected directly in that work, and ikebana becomes that person.

◆ Transformed its format to keep up with the latest trend.

Applying Ikebana lessons to Business and Management

・Enhance their strong point and make them alive.

・Respect team member’s background and viewpoint.

・Enjoy anything which has no right answer or pathway.

・Spontaneous decision making.

・Discover how adopting new perspectives together can lead to unexpected creativity, by adding each person’s viewpoint.

・Transformation is needed to adapt to the times.

Workshop Examples

The contents can be adapted to meet your requirements.

If needed, I will be able to offer the introduction of IKEBANA Philosophy, History and Transformation from the traditional to modern art.

I can also introduce SAKE evolution, which  is a fun approach to Japanese culture.

Ikebana Teambuilding

・Groups of 3~5 people will arrange 1 ikebana installation.

・Find and Respect each member’s originality, perspective and background.

・Encourage each member’s challenge by creating Ikebana art.

・Everyone focuses on “beauty” during the whole session and completed a piece of tangible artwork together.

・Enhance cooperative and collaborative culture

Diversity and Innovation

・Attendees to create the flower art, which is different from the traditionall format.  (1 arrangement for 1 person).

・Since there are no rules about length, angle, etc. Attendees to make full use of their personalities.

・When we use the same flower materials, our outputs will be totally different. Attendees to feel the diversity and uniqueness from the other participants. At the same time, you will enjoy the fun of art.

・In Sogetsu Ikebana, we express “When a flower is arranged, it becomes a person.” You are going to see yourself reflected in Ikebana.
